Felthorpe Lakes

Sport and Leisure Fishing in the
Norfolk Countryside...

Felthorpe Lakes are situated about ten minutes out of Norwich on Brick Kiln Road, Hevingham. They lie between the B149 Norwich to Holt road and the A140 Norwich to Cromer Road.

From the Holt Road end (The B149). Leave Norwich and take the B149 towards Holt from the roundabout on the A140. Go through Horsford and keep going towards Cawston and Holt. After you have passed the 'Felthorpe - Short Thorn Road' staggered crossroads watch out for Brick Kiln Road on the right.  Once you have turned into Brick Kiln Road the lakes will be on the right about quarter of a mile down just through the trees.

Once on Brick Kiln Road look for the lane and the wooden sign and follow the lane up to the lakes.

From Norwich direction on the A140 take the main left turning into Hevingham (Just after passing the Fox public house on the right). Follow this road into the village and take the first left which is Brick Kiln Road (The turning is a left fork opposite a large white farm house called Pound Farm) and go to the far end of that road watching for Felthorpe Lakes on the left just before the wooded area.

From Aylsham/Cromer direction on the A140 about three miles out of Aylsham watch for Hevingham church and a lay-by on the left (Please note this section of road is considered an accident black spot so please take care). After passing the church watch for a filter system allowing you to turn right into Hevingham village. Follow this road through the village and take the first left which is Brick Kiln Road (The turning is a left fork opposite a large white farm house called Pound Farm) and go to the far end of that road watching for Felthorpe Lakes on the left just before the wooded area.
